Week 13, the end of March.
We can’t seem to catch a break here in CT with the weather. It’s still winter-like temperatures and it snowed… Again. We’re spending so much time indoors that I fantasize about being outdoors as much possible when it warms up. I’m already talking about playdates and planning on taking Cole on nap walks, so he can sleep in his stroller in the backyard while I work on my Macbook. But, that still feels far away and until then we’re still stuck indoors most of the time with Cole mostly keeping himself occupied by following me around, playing with the dogs, climbing on the furniture, taking stuff off the shelves and talking a lot. (By the way, I LOVE the talking. He’s stringing together 2-3 words now like: “Cole’s waa waa” or “mo bite peeash (please)” and “scuze (excuse) me, mama”, which he even says to the dogs. :) ) I try to involve him with as much as I can like letting him load the washer and push the buttons to start it or even making my coffee in the Keurig. But, aside from a couple of errands, we did get out for gymnastics (not pictured), had lunch with my close friend, “Manna” (Amanda) and a playdate with my other good mama friend and her daughter Adrianna (our little monkeys are a month a part). All in all not a bad week and still wistfully waiting for Spring.
