Last week was a little rough. Cole was still battling that stomach bug. He was extremely fussy and lethargic. He barley had an appetite and we had to force Pedialyte down him with a syringe. It was the longest and most intense sickness he’s had to date. For a first-time mama I have to admit I was having to control the fear.

We pretty much were quarantined and practically everything I did he was either on my hip or my lap. But, I did take him on a few walks just to get out and if we weren’t moving he would ask me to hold him or “ho me” as he says it. Finally, on Friday we began to see the light… He started to play more and ask for drinks or “waa waa”, which was the biggest indicator he was legitimately on the up-and-up.

I didn’t photograph as much as I would have liked, but other than Cole being glued to me I feel this is an honest glimpse of what last week looked like. I promise, next week’s post will be more delightful.
