Gianna is graduating with Amity’s Class of 2016. She’s a competitive gymnast, she’s on her school’s dance team and she’s like family to us.
I can’t believe adulthood is knocking on her door already as she closes in on this high-school chapter of her life. I mean, I think it was just a year ago that she didn’t even stand 5 feet tall and it also wasn’t too long ago that she wouldn’t even consider going to a college that was more than 30 minutes away from home. Now, she’s almost as tall as I am (a whopping 5’3!) and only out-of-state schools are on her radar.
There’s so much I love about this girl. Her sense of humor, affinity for sweets, her perfectionistic quirks (because I have them, too), how it takes her 10 bites to eat one chip, her taste in clothes, and how much she loves my son to name a few. But, above all, I love her heart of god. She’s thoughtful, tender and sweet. She’s blessed with so much yet she’s incredibly grateful. She’s a light in this world and we are blessed to be closely knit.
Gigi, we are so thankful to have you in our lives. We love you!!!
