There is just so much I love about Madolyn + CJ’s wedding. The day started off with makeup by Jennie Fresa’s team – love! The group pictures the guys took while the girls were still getting ready (I saw those while editing and they totally made me laugh) – love! First look – love! Their sweet + hilarious wedding party and family – love! Beautiful outside ceremony at Harkness State Park, which I have to say made me well with tears – love! And the list goes on from the stunning florals by Jakkelyn Iris Designs, to CJ’s suit, to the crazy socks the groomsmen wore (and listen, I’ve been told before the guys would have crazy socks only for them to just be stripes), to the gorgeous reception at Eoila Mansion. I also have to mention they had a donut wedding cake. Yes, you heard me right, a DONUT wedding cake! They wrote individual jokes for their wedding party, so instead of the standard introduction to music their wedding party walked out to a friend reading the jokes off like a boxing ring announcer. The toasts were unique, funny + sentimental. There was some quirky and silly dancing that went down, which had us laughing behind the camera. And then, there’s Madolyn + CJ themselves… genuinely sweet, amazing and loving people. So you see why I have so much love for this wedding?! Sometimes you just hit the jackpot with your couples and Mad + CJ were one of them. Love their wedding, love them and love that I now call them friends.
